博士畢業(yè)于法國波爾多大學(xué),師從法國院士Prof. Didier Astruc。之后分別在多倫多大學(xué)和牛津大學(xué)從事博后研究,期間于2012年獲歐盟瑪麗居里基金資助。2014年底加入中科院重慶綠色智能技術(shù)研究院。主持國家基金委、中科院、重慶市科技局等項目8項,申請及合作申請發(fā)明專利30多件,第一發(fā)明人授權(quán)10件。已發(fā)表論文及合作論文80余篇,單篇最高引用970次。任中國分析測試協(xié)會納米分析委員會委員,為Adv. Mater., Coor. Chem. Rev., Chem. Sci., Sens. Actuat. B Chem. 等國際期刊審稿人。
